Challenge

JetBrains Techlab is a technology museum on a mission to inspire youth and adults with the future of technology. The Amsterdam based museum invites visitors to experience how technology can make the world a better place through robotics, AI, 3D printing, VR & AR. I was hired to manage the museum’s social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

Approach

To grow the audience of this newly opened museum, I focused on creating never seen before content that gets people excited. The content calendar was planned with thoughtfully designed categories to serve various marketing objectives, and to keep updated with trending topics. The content formats were constantly tested in order to optimize performance based on the ever-changing social media algorithms.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Results

The Instagram account achieved a 75% increase in followers within a year. We also saw a 324% increase in Instagram reach and 9.9m% increase in Facebook reach within the same period.
