Contest & Lead Generation
For a new photoshoot project, Photographer MOJA set out a task to find a new make-up artist to join the team, while increasing online exposure for the photographer.
Instead of a typical recruitment ad, I designed a social media campaign in an open call / contest format. All make-up artists in Europe are encouraged to submit their portfolios. A winning make-up artist would be selected for a Cannes Film Festival exclusive job. I designed the landing page, ad creatives and ad copy optimized for mobile and for Facebook and Instagram replacements. A layered interest based targeting was set up and optimized for the social media Ad campaign.
We reached over 109K people within 7 days. The photographer received 140 submissions from 20 countries, at €0.13 cost per click and €2.30 cost per lead. The website visits increased by 477% during the campaign.
